Is-sinjal għal ĠERA MADWAR għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal ĠERA. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ ponn bil-pala ta’ id waħda tħares lejn l-oħra. L-idejn iduru f’linja vertikali fil-ġnub. Id-waħda titla’ waqt li l-oħra tinżel. (ii) Imbagħad, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ U u l-id iddur dawra quddiem biż-żewġt iswaba’ jferfru.

Waqt li d-direzzjoni tal-moviment fit-tieni parti tas-sinjal tkun f’dawra, ġieli l-entita madwar xiex ikun jiġri tiġi indikata bl-id l-oħra li sservi bħala classifier, jiġifieri tirrapreżenta l-persuna jew il-ħaġa li tkun diġa ssemmiet fid-diskors.

The sign for RUN ROUND consists of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for RUN which is made with both hands in a fist shape with palms facing each other. The hands rotate in a vertical direction at the side. One hand moves up when the other moves down. This reminds one of the movement one makes whilst running. (ii) The second part is made with one hand that takes the shape of U. The hand moves in a circle at the front with the two fingers fluttering.

Whilst the direction of the movement in the second part of the sign is circular, often, the entity around which the run is made is indicated by the other hand which serves as the classifier, that is, representing the person or object already mentioned in the discourse.
